She was a former resident of Bristol, Vermont, and longtime resident of Mechanicville, New York. She recently relocated to Syracuse, New York. Gussie is survived by her grandson, Christopher M. and Sheryl Foster and family of Hanover, Massachusetts; her brothers, Wilhelm Rotax (New Haven, VT), Rudolph Rotax (Monkton, VT), and Paul and Doris Rotax (Lincoln, VT); three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews from Vermont and New York; many cousins; along with many lifelong friends. Augusta was predeceased by her parents, Frederick C. and Bessie (Stilson) Rotax; and brothers/sisters, Lena (Rotax) Cyr, Edward P., Adolphus F., Roberta (Rotax) Brundige and Warren H. Rotax. She was also predeceased by her husband, Keith W. Weaver (1969) and her daughter, Bette Lou (Weaver) Foster (Dec. 2000).
