Funeral services were held Monday,at Gamaliel Methodist Church for Edgar B. Burford,82,retired farmer of Gamalel.Mr.Burford died at a Park City nursing home Saturday,June 3,1961.He had been in failing health for sometime and had lost his eyesight.
The Rev.Jack Vibbert officiated at final rites,which were followed by burial in Whitley Cemetery,near Reb Boiling Springs,Tenn.
Mr. Burford was the son of the late Danel Burford and the late Mr. Mattie Harris Burford.He is survived by his wife,Mrs. Nannie Hale Burford.
