Died Sunday morning, September 7, 2003. Mary Ann was born November 5, 1928 in Warrick County, Indiana, a daughter of Sol and Nola (Meadows) Angel. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1968, coming from Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William. On November 20, 1948, she was united in marriage to James Hemenway who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Kevin (Mary) Hemenway of Kalamazoo, Jamie (Doug) Ellis of Grand Rapids, and James A. (Debra) Hemenway of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private inurnment of cremains will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Boonville, IN at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
