HARRY B. CHAPLIN, 54, of 146 Broad Avenue, died at 9:30 p. m.. Tuesday, at Binghamton City Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Keza S. Chaplin; three sons. Harry B.. William A. and Donald A., all of Binghamton; two daughters, Mrs. Merle B. Clendening of Castle Creek and Mary B. Chaplin; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Julia A. Corey, all of Binghamton; several nieces and nephews. He was employed by the Erie Railroad for 37 years and was a member of Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. He was a member of BPO Elks, Post 80, American Legion. He was a World War 1 veteran and a member of First Presbyterian Church. The body was removed to the Tracy Prentice Funeral Home, 55 Main Street, where friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p. m. A service will be conducted by members of BPO Elks at 8 p. m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
