Native of Spartanburg County, SC and member of Southside Baptist Church, in Winterhaven, Florida. Son of Robert H. and Emma Watson Babb and Veteran of World War II. He died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday in the Veteran's Hospital in Oteen, NC following a lengthy illness. Survivors included: sisters, Mrs. Pearl Strickland, Mrs.Lucy Solesbee and Mrs, Lucille Clayton, brothers, Berry, Bill and Pal Babb. He was 51 years of age at his demise.
