GRAND VALLEY - (Grand Valley name has been changed to Parachute)
A well known western Colorado rancher, Leonard B. Hulslander, 68, was found dead in bed at his Grand Valley home this morning. He had been dead for several hours, apparently the victim of a heart ailment for which he had been treated in recent years.
Mr. Hulslander had lived at Dillon and Frisco before moving to Grand Valley in 1962. Mrs. Hulslander operates the Grand Valley Drug Store.
Survivors include his wife and several children, two of whom live at home, a son Kenneth and a daughter, Karma. Another son, Len Hulslander, lives at Loma. Sowder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

GRAND VALLEY - Leonard B. Hulslander, 68, livestock rancher in this community since 1962, died Wednesday morning at his home.
Mr. Hulslander was born Sept. 7, 1896, Tioga County, Pa., and moved to Plainview, Neb., at the age of four, he moved to Chappell, neb., in 1913 and made his home there for a number of years.
On June 14, 1916, he was married to Mildred North at Sterling, Colo. She died July 1, 1939 at Crook, Colo., where they had lived for 17 years.
mr. Hulslander was married to Ethel R. Edith Christiansen at Kimball, Neb., on Sept. 11, 1944. They lived at Dillon and at Norman, Okla., before moving to Grand Valley.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Harry, Denver; Len, Loma; Albert Dee, Longmont, and Kenneth of the home; five daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Elnora) Stewart, Loveland; Mrs. C.L. (Bernice) Keime, Colorado Springs; mrs. Calvin (Betty) Carter, Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Ronald (Arta) Wray, Pensacola, Fla., and Miss Karma Hulslander, of the home; two brothers, Ross, Birmingham, Ala., and Clair, Lynnwood, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy melck, Sidney, Neb.; and 18 grandchildren
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Grand Valley Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Becker officiating.
Additional services will be held at the Lodgepole, Neb. at 11 a.m. Saturday.
