Orreal E. Katt, 92, of Perryville, died October 15, 2018 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO after a brief illness.
She was born January 16, 1926 in Farrar, MO daughter of Paul and Edna (Stueve) Heise. She and Oliver R. Katt were married on October 30, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1995.
Orreal was a dietician and occupational therapist at American Care Center. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, LWML, Berean Bible Class and Ladies Tuesday Afternoon Bible Class. She liked to bake, make handmade quilts and embroider.
Orreal was also skilled at making numerous friends, especially from Immanuel Lutheran Church and Holiday Residential.
Survivors include one daughter, Faye Katt (Ganesh Natarajan) of Chicago, IL, one brother, Dale (Maureen) Heise of Harrodsburg, KY and one grandson, Oliver Natarajan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter, Kaye.
Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, October 21 from 4:00 to 7:30 pm and on Monday from 6:30 to 9:00 am. She will then be taken to the Immanuel Lutheran Church for service at 10:30 am with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery with a luncheon at Immanuel Lutheran Fellowship Room to follow.
