He had been a carpenter for 30 years retiring in 1975. He was a member of Stony Point Christian Church.
He served his country as a member of the Marine Corp and the Army Air Corp during World War II.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lula L. Jacks, of the home, a daughter and her husband, Linda and James Doll, Peculiar, MO, three grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many great neighbors.
