He was born Dec. 30, 1934 in Provo, Utah to Herman L. and Bernice W. Anderson. He married Dolores Parrill. They were later divorced. He enjoyed and had an associate's degree in electronics. He also enjoyed fishing.He is survived by three sons: Michael Scott Andeson, Florida; Richard Allen Anderson and Donald Weichers Anderson, Jr., both of Salt Lake City; daughter, Brenda Kay Parker, Salt Lake City; his mother; three sisters, Raelene Moore and Marilyn Allen, both of Pahrump, NV; and Diane Barnard of Taylorsville, UT; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father and a son, David Anderson.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000 at 10 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd. Funeral Directors, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
