The oldest of six children was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rand. She grew to young womanhood in Denver where in 1891 she was married to Thomas Doyle. The young couple came to Iowa and settled near Radfield. She is a mother of 8 children. Michael Doyle, Thomas Bertram Doyle, John Francis Doyle, Daniel C. Doyle, Maurice C. Doyle, Charles Herbert Doyle, and Anna D. Doyle Graham.
