Mrs. Rena Olson Dies in Lovell
LOVELL, Wyo. - Mrs. Rena Olson, 88 died Saturday afternoon in a Lovell hospital where she had been a patient for nine years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in Lovell LDS Chapel with Bishop Elmer Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Lovell Cemetery under direction of Haskell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Olson was born Oct. 27, 1877, at Fountain Green, Utah, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Aagard. She was married to Albert Olson Aug. 22, 1900, at Sat Lake City. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Olson was active in LDS and community work.
Surviving are three sons, Randall of Seattle, Aagard of Alderwood Manor, Wash., and Robert of Sheridan, Wyo.; five daughters, Mrs. Thales Haskell and Mrs. H.M. Mortenson, both of Lovell, Mrs. William Watson of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Clyde Hunter of Worland and Mrs. Francis Smith of Powell.

She was born Oct. 27, 1877, at Fountain Green, Utah, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Aagard. Aug. 22, 1900, at Salt Lake City, Utah, she was married to Albert Olson, who preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Rena Olson, 88 were held Tuesday in the Lovell LDS Chapel with Bishop Elmer Stevens officiating.
The Singing Mothers sang "Oh My Father," followed by the opening prayer by Isaac Tippetts. A special number was sung by the Singing Mothers of Worland. Madge May, a granddaughter of Mrs. Olson read the obituary. "Beyond The Sunset" was sung by Art and Scott Welch, accompanied by Kathleen Welch.
Arthur Keeley was speaker. Closing song by the combined Singing Mothers, "I Shall Not Pass Again This Way". The closing prayer was by Leland Harris. Prelude and postlude.
Aldine Watson of Salt Lake City, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Welby Aagard, Bernell Aagard, Mrs. Kenna Rasmussen and Mrs. Laurel Schools were here for the services from Salt Lake City.
