La Verne, Calif. -- Mrs. Carrie V. Barnhart, 88, La Verne, Calif., died Friday in Woods Memorial Convalescent Hospital, La Verne, Calif.
Mrs. Barnhart was born March 27, 1892, in Benson, Ill. She came to California in 1952 from Wenatchee where she had lived since 1912.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, La Verne, Calif.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Betty Morris, La Verne, Calif., and Mrs. Gladys Garot, Sacramento; four sons, Charles and Russell, both of Wenatchee, Robert of Fullerton, Calif., and Floyd of Meadow Vista, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Pineo, Fresno, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in La Verne, Calif.
Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
Age at death was 88 years. Mother's name was Laura Childers & father's was Charles Thomas Eller.
