Anna Mae Fisher, 88, of Huntingdon Manor, Huntingdon, formerly of Petersburg Pike, Huntingdon, and Mill Creek, died at 1:13 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Huntingdon Manor.

Born Jan. 8, 1913, in McConnellstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Pearl
(Merritts) Wasson. She married Fred 0. Fisher Dec. 31. 1930. Mr. Fisher preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1973.

Surviving are the following children; Mrs. Marie C. Galloway, Mill Creek; Fred 0. Fisher Jr., Akron, Ohio; Glenn W. Fisher, Akron, Ohio; Melvin E. Fisher, Mill Creek; Mrs.
Kenneth (Marcella) Dysard, Mill Creek; Mrs. Richard (Susan) Bookwalter, Mapleton; Harry H. Fisher, Mount Union; William C. Fisher, Huntingdon; Deborah L. Fisher, Mill Creek; and Mrs. James (Skeeter) Russler, Petersburg, R.R. 1.

Also surviving are two brothers, Warren Wasson, Akron, Ohio; and Glenn Wasson, Talmadge, Ohio; and one sister, Phyllis Hanks, Hesston, 38 granchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Fisher; a brother, Samuel Wasson and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fisher had been a member of the Auxiliary of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 223, Huntingdon, Standing Stone VFW Post 1754, Huntingdon and the Frank P. Hommon Post 24 of the American Legion. During her lifetime Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with Capt. Wendy Hart officiating. Interment will be in Mountainview Cemetery, Mill Creek.
