Lamuel Milton Brooks, 80, of Caroline County died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He is survived by three sisters, Cora Scott of Salem, Avis Williams of Bowling Green and Dorothy Hall of Spotsylvania County; a brother, Stokley Brooks of Spotsylvania; and two stepdaughters, Barbara Martin of Caroline and Shirley Jett of Spotsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Ethel Brooks, and a sister, Lillian Brookman.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Hebron Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
