Cleo Edgmon Lager, age 87, of Low Gap, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.

She was born January 10, 1922 at Mossville, Arkansas, the daughter of Jesse and Martha Ann (Watson) Edgmon.
She was a member of the Mossville United Baptist Church.

On July 14, 1947 she was united in marriage to Argus Lager. He preceded her in death along with a son, Jackie Dale Lager; her parents, Jesse and Martha Edgmon; four sisters, Velma Sparks, Eileen Woods, Glenna Reynolds and Bertha Reynolds and two brothers, Eddie Joe Edgmon and Wade Edgmon.

Survivors are her children, Pete Lager and his wife, Janet of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas, Shirlene Lackey and her husband Ronnie of Low Gap, Arkansas and Vonnie Matthews and her husband Elton of Harrison; three brothers, J.E. Edgmon and Ward Edgmon both of Low Gap, Arknasas and Lawton Edgmon of Mossville, Arkansas; three sisters, Louise Grubb of Springdale, Arkansas, Bonnie Regeir of Rogers, Arkansas and Ruby Hollon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday July 17, 2009 at the Mossville United Baptist Church with Bobby Young and Robert Huber officiating. Burial will be in Mossville Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ricky Reynolds, Timothy Reynolds, Randall Edgmon, David Edgmon, Dorlin Sparks, and Kennie Woods. Honorary Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Toinette Madison, Greg Lackey, Dustin Lager, Kristie Aulds, Devona Freeman, and Cynthia Matthews.
