The McArthur Democrat-Enquirer, 42th inst., says: The marriage of Miss Bertha L. Dunkle, of this place, and Mr. Clifton Dresback, of Kingston, which took place almost a year ago, has just been made known to their many friends. The bride is a sister of Lum Dunkle, of this township, and a very intelligent and pleasant young lady. They will reside in Columbus.

Because Bertha was a teacher, they apparently kept their marriage secret. Schools wouldn't hire married women to teach at that time. In Clifton's obituary it states that Bertha and Clifton Dresbach were married the 30th of January 1901. Recently we found a marriage record for them in Kenton Co., KY (Covington) for 30 July 1901.
