A Beloved Member of the Familia Mortuorum

Your birthday has been lost to time
A precious date to lose,
In search of a worthy substitute
It's Christmas I shall choose.
For God so loved His people
He gave His only Son.
Christ was born, the Word made flesh...
Our salvation won.
Birthday wishes, my dear friend
This day I'll pray for you...
In many ways, of all the days
None better could one do.
