Her most notable achievement was the authorship of "An Authentic History of the
Ku Klux Klan," a book which elicited high praise from eminent critics throughout
the country, particularly in the East.
Survivors at the time of her death: two sisters, Misses Bessie and Annie Davis
of Montgomery; one half-sister, Mrs. Mal Jacks of Sheffield, Ala., two nieces,
Mrs. Cannon Crick of Sheffield and Mrs. S.P. Pryor of Flemingsburg, Ky.; eight
nephews, Kenneth, Bob and Woodrow Wilkerson, L.R. Jacks, and R.O. and Nick
Kelly, and several great-nephews and nieces.
