"TWO MORE DEATHS STANOVICH FAMILY"

"Peter Stanovich Died Last Night and Mrs. May Ancoin (sic )Passed Away Yesterday Morning"

"Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stanovich are receiving the deep sympathy of this community on account of the double bereavement visted upon them in the death of their son, Peter Stanovich, aged 20, who died last night at 8 o'clock, preceded by their daughter, Mrs. May Ancoin, aged 22 years, who died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at 1325 East Beach. They were both buried in the city cemetery today at 2 o'clock, the funeral services being conducted by Father Downing. The blows to the bereaved family followed in quick succession, and the fond parents are bowed with deepest grief in which all wish them needed comfort".

Gravesite Details

Peter and May died from influenza. Their two nieces, Harriet May and Kathryn died the day before from the same.
