Phoebe was born on the family farm in southern Davis County, Kansas. Davis County was renamed as Geary County shortly after Phoebe was born.

Phoebe married Alfred Lundberg on Aug 18, 1909 in Kansas.

Phoebe was named after her baby sister. The first "Febia" died from "crib death". (1880-1881) She was probable less than 1 year old when she died.
