He was born on March 14, 1972 in Portland, Maine, the son of Albert and Laurel (Guptill) Dyer. He graduated from Mount View High School in 1990 and studied Auto Collision Repair at Waldo Regional Vocational Center in Waldo. He was employed by Orion Rope Works in Winslow for 14 years.
Donny was a very kind and gentle man. He was natural funny and could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed stock car racing and building model cars. He played video games and loved watching movies. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Laurel Dyer of Detroit; his brother, Darrin Dyer of Canaan; his nieces, Sierra Dyer of Canaan and Cheyenne Dyer of Thorndike; his nephew, Robert Dyer of Canaan; a special uncle, Albert Sirois of Windham, and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Dyer.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the Rogers Cemetery, Rogers Road, Troy, Maine. It is his family's request that you come in casual dress in honor of Donny.
