Obituary of Preston Norbert Mauffray

Preston Norbert Mauffray, 70, of Pascagoula, MS passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 in Birmingham, AL.
Mr. Mauffray was born February 5, 1939 in Picayune, MS to the late Norbert E. and Hazel Bennett Mauffray. He lived along the Coast most of his life. He attended OLV High School where he played football. He loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed playing darts and overall living life to the fullest.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Leroy Lee Cuevas and is survived by six sons; David Mauffray of Gulfport, MS, Darryl Mauffray of Ocean Springs, MS, Donald Ray Mauffray of Decatur, AL, Preston P.J. Mauffray of Diamondhead, MS, Jason and Stephen Mauffray both of Waveland, MS.; three sisters, Elaine Mauffray of Pascagoula, MS, Norma Cuevas of Kiln, MS and Elizabeth Brister (Jerry) of Pascagoula, MS; eight grandchildren and longtime friend Leona Rosalis of Bremerton, Washington.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. with Rosary at 8:30 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, MS.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moss Point with Father Mike Austin as celebrant.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Lockard, Jonathan Lockard, Terry Necaise, Tommy Bennett, Gene Bennett and Doug Garner.
Interment will follow at Bayou Coco Cemetery in Kiln, MS.
