Sarah 'Lattie' Emerson (daughter of Aaron Emerson & Rosanna Dowd of NC), she was the great-granddaughter of James 'The Regulator' Emerson, Revolutionary War Hero.
Sarah married Dr. Oliver Perry Luther in 1859, they moved to Lake City FL in 1860.
Per letters of Sarah, she visited her son, Frank in TN about 1888/1889 and mentioned discovering her illness (TB?), then went to visit her son Lonnie in Missouri where she passed away. Her sons William and Oliver passed when they were young, Frank and John also passed from TB.
