Longview resident Rudie Glenn Bostain, 61, passed away Oct. 31, 2008, at home.
He was born June 8, 1947, in Yakima, to Coolidge and Aileen (Morehead) Bostain. He moved to the Longview area in 1961.
Rudie worked for The Longview Daily News as a master mechanic for 27 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed riding his Harley. He loved classic cars and working on them.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Bostain; three half-brothers, Rod, Ted and Dale Kuykendall; a half-sister, Rhonda Ware; a nephew, Beau Bostain; and a niece, Courtney Ritchie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
