and Daniel Winney. The names William and Nancy Winney challange the division of the land and William is named exuactor of the estate.

About 1843, William and Emily seperate and both remarry.
William and soon to be Brother-In-Law, Luther Basford that was hired by Albany and New York speculators Daniels and Denniston Company to establish Cassville in Grant County in anticipation of the town becoming the new capital of Wisconsin. Cassville lost out by one vote to Madison and the New York investors lost most of their money.

William Winney married Anna Blessing, October 23, 1845 in Glen Haven. They were the parents of 13 children. William served as a Cassville Constable form 1849 to 1859.
