She attended Middle Tennessee State University. Carmen was homecoming queen of 58'.
She married David Pierce Dale in 1962 in Long Beach, CA.
She is survived by their two sons, Mark Pierce and Todd Alexander, her former husband David, daughter-in-law Khrystyna, her sisters, Wilma Martin and Ronda Shawcroft, bothers Joe and Bruce Alexander, her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren, Hannah, Christian and Renata-Carmine born in November of 2009.
She married Jerry Golby "Jerome Goldberg" in 1995 and they divorced in 2009, Jerry survives her

Carmen loved biking with her "Cycle Oregon" friends; she traveled much of Europe, and most of the Americas, she loved spending time with her daughter in-laws family in Lviv, Ukraine. There was not a moment Carmen was not making plans to do something - from a simple dinner or a trip to someplace near or far. Most of all, she loved being with people and learning something and sharing.
Her grandchildren where everything to her, nothing mattered more.
There could never be a more pleasant or companionable person to ever know. Carmen loved life...
Carmen did not wish to leave us, and knew more needed to be done, and more love needed to be shared. I never knew of anyone who said a unkind word about Carmen; She hoped to be liked, she wished you to know, you were liked by her.
