Edgar H. ADAMSON, 65, 929 Jackson boulevard, died Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn hospital, where he had been a patient since Friday noon. Death was due to emphysema and resulting complications. Mr. Adamson had been in failing health five years and seriously ill since Friday. Born Oct. 1, 1898, in Rochester, he was the son of Homer and Isabelle JEWEL ADAMSON. Mr. Adamson had spent most of his life in this community. His marriage was Oct. 8, 1921, in Rochester, to Glendon R. SHORE, who survives. Mr. Adamson was employed by the Gewell Ridge Coal Sales company of Cincinnati, was a member of the United Presbyterian church, Leroy Shelton Post of the American Legion and a veteran of World War I. Surviving, besides the wife, are one daughter, Mrs. John (Billie) KREISLE, South Bend; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Emerson FELDER, Fulton; three brothers, Clarence, Arthur and Roy [ADAMSON], all of Rochester, and nieces and nephews. Last rites will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. James SCHUMACHER officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
