The Missouri death certificate for Harriet Garst for July 5, 1911 is not Andrew Jackson Garst's wife. Harriet Garst is buried by her husband in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont, Labette County, KS.

He was appointed Postmasters Oct. 21, 1885 Altamont. On Sept 16, 1889 he file for pension in Kansas for his wound in the Civil War.
