BRECKENRIDGE, Oct. 6 (RNS) - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Maxwell, 86, of Breckenridge, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the Breckenridge Clinical Hospital. Mrs. Maxwell was born in Harris County Aug. 13, 1866, and moved to the Wayland community in 1885, living there until 1929 when she came to Breckenridge. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Missionary Society here. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J. A. Simmons, Abilene, Mrs. W. R. Weaver of Fort Worth, Mrs. Florence Newberry of Houston, Mrs. Wayne Amick of Victoria; three sons, Ernest of Breckenridge, Homer Maxwell of Dallas, Byron of Albany; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nila Flournoy of Necessity; and one brother, Jim Fambrough of Wayland. Funeral arrangements were pending Monday night and will be announced by the Kiker Funeral Home, Breckenridge.
