Lifelong local resident Teresa Marie Gibson, 51, of Longview passed away Nov. 24, 2008, at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Ore.

She was born Oct. 10, 1957, in Longview and graduated with the Mark Morris High School Class of 1975.

Teresa worked for Rod and Karen Riblin at the Kelso Dairy Queen for 21 years. She enjoyed fishing, walks on the beach, spending time with family and friends, and a lifetime of collecting pigs.

Survivors include her spouse, Michael Gibson; two sons, Robert and Joe Gibson; her mother, Evelyn Lasseigne; her parents-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Renee Gibson; three sisters, Anita Graves, Sharon Bach and Diana Thunder; a brother-in-law, Joe Gibson; a sister-in-law, Edie Kelly; three grandchildren, Casey, Ciara and R.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her father, Nolan Lasseigne, preceded her in death in 1991.

A celebration of Teresa's life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Arrangements are by Columbia Funeral Service.
