Russell Stout, 69, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Sunday at Flagler Hospital there. His death followed injuries incurred while operating a power lawn mower.
He was a former city resident, moving to Florida about 16 years ago. While in the city, he operated the Stout Music Center on East First Street, and later on Forest Avenue.
Mr. Stout had been associated with the Coon-Sanders Orchestra in the 1930s as a guitarist. He also was a member of the Arch Adrian orchestra at one time. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his widow and one brother.
Funeral services will be held in Florida, with cremation to follow.
