Aaron Fay Bradford was one of thirteen children born to James Houston Bradford and Beulah Etta Bunnell Bradford. The other children were: James Floyd, Myrtle A., Grady Jackson, Lillian Gladys, Flora Louise, Vivian Etoil, Lulu Edna, Gurnia Ray, Ola, Era Dale, Vera and Braxton Bradford.

He married Kathleen Young.

Funeral for Aaron F. Bradford, 64, of Decatur was to be today at 12:30 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Ira Williams officiating.

Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Bradford died Tuesday, May 2, 1996, at his residence. He was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Lawrence County. Mr. Bradford was retired from ConAgra and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Bradford; two daughters, Janice Scurlock and Fran Downs, both of Decatur; one son, Faron Bradford of Decatur; two brothers, Gurnie Bradford of Town Creek and Braxton Bradford of Decatur; six sisters, Myrtle Thrasher and Lula Rutherford, both of Muscle Shoal, Vera Rose and Lillian Harville, both of Town Creek, Era Peebles of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Flora Smith of Decatur; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Carlie Craig, Dwight Taylor, Donald Morris, Huey Shelton, Andy Bradford and Charles Rose.
