WEST VALLEY CITY--Our loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend, Orel (Mickey) Rae Smith, age 69, died August 5, 1995.
She was born April 16, 1926, in McCammon, Idaho, to Daniel Grant and Velma Jessie Sperry Green. Married Elmo LeRoy Smith July 7, 1946, in Pocatello, Idaho. Marriage later solemnized December 1952 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She served faithfully for many years in various church callings. She especially enjoyed being the ward organist for many years. Her family was first and foremost and we will miss her dearly.
Survived by her husband, Elmo; four sons, Kent G. (Alice) Smith, Greycourt, South Carolina, Donald L. Smith, West Valley City, Gregory E. (Ina Mae) Smith, Layton, Kevin V. Smith, Midvale; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Green; two sisters, Mavis Merrill and Dorcas Hawkes.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville 4th Ward, 4310 South 3200 West. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church from 11-11:40 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
