June Ann Clouse Lowery passed from this life peacefully after an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 11, 2016. June leaves a legacy of an enduring and selfless love as wife, mother and friend. Mrs. Lowery took her last breath while listening to recorded gospel music sung by her beloved husband, Bobby Lowery, who preceded her in death by almost exactly twenty-one years. A prolific note writer, she constantly lifted the spirits of others with a well timed note of encouragement or sympathy. She was also predeceased by her firstborn child, Bobby Dewaine Lowery, her parents, Laura (Young) Clouse and
Charlie 'Theo' Clouse, as well as her sister, Ruby (Clouse) Wright. June is survived by
her three living children - Jerry Lowery,
Sherry Pack, and John Lowery. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren Jeremy Lowery, Deonna Johns, Caleb Lowery, Joshua Lowery, Danielle Young, Rex Lowery, Brittany Young, Alexandra Lowery,
Kaleigh Young, and Hayden Young.
'Miss June' as she was known to her church family at First Baptist Church loved her family, her church, the Sparta Warriors and Chicago Cubs. The personal loss felt by her loved ones is tempered by the knowledge of her unshakable faith and the joyous reunion in Heaven she anticipated in her final days.
Services will be held Monday, June 13, at the First Baptist Church in Sparta, Tennessee, with a memorial service beginning in the church sanctuary. Graveside services will follow immediately at the Clouse Cemetery.
