Kathy Abner, 57, Plum Lick Road, retired 27 year supervisor for Kentucky Textiles and an eight year employee of Johnson Controls, wife of Ray C. Abner, Sr., died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at her home. She was born June 18, 1952 in Bourbon County, daughter of Hattie Guy Lemons, Cynthiana, and the late Albert Thomas Lemons, a graduate of Bourbon County schools, and was a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church. In addition to her mother and husband, Kathy is survived by a daughter, Linda (Kelly) Frodelius, Paris; three sons, Ray C. Abner, Jr., Paris, Raymond (Amber) Abner, Paris, James Robert (Tiffany) Abner, Fort Still, OK; grandchildren, Madison Frodelius, Aaron Ray Abner, Kordell Frodelius, Mason Abner, Adriana Brooke Abner, Katherine Ann Frodelius; a sister, Phyllis (Junior) Lawson, Millersburg; a brother, William Thomas (Glenda) Lemons, Carlisle; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Lemons. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Bro. Kevin Strausbaugh and Marvin Hatton with burial in the Wagoner's Chapel Cemetery in Harrison County. Casket bearers will be Bobby Lee Greenhill, Mike Modica, Christopher Rice, Mason Wiseman, Seth Wiseman, William Frodelius, Bill Smith, and James Allen Abner. Honorary bearers will be Kelly Frodelius, Brad Case, Jessica Greenhill, Paul Smith, David Abner, Wesley Hunt, G.T. Lawson, Johnny Lawson, Michael Lemons, Robert Lemons, Zack Lemons, and her friends at Johnson Control. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
