EDWARDS Ted W. Edwards, age 67, of Green Cove Springs, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2004, after a lingering illness. He was a native of Branford County, Florida, attending local schools. He graduated from Jones Business College, Jacksonville. He served four years in the U. S. Air Force, and retired in 1992 from Florida Air National Guard 125th with the rank of Sr. Master Sgt., serving 34 years. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Guy and Elva Lee Edwards, and a son, Guy Curtis Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rachel Edwards, a daughter, Kathryn Collier (Ron) of Petersburg, KY, two sons, David Wayne Edwards (Darlynn), and Randy Glenn Edwards (Pamela), both of Jacksonville, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Curtis Edwards (Velmarie), of Starke, FL, and a sister, Ruth Edwards Rich, of League City, TX. He was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Edwards. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 5, 2004, in the c hapel of Jones Funeral Home, Starke, FL, with interment to follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Green Cove Springs, FL.
