Mr. P. B. Clark an esteemed citizen of the 73rd district died on Monday morning from blood poison. He had been ill for a very short while and his death came as a shock to the whole community. It appears that while handling nitrate of soda a few days back, that he had the misfortune of getting some of it into an old sore on his hand which caused the malady.

Besides his wife, Mr. Clark leaves three sons and five daughters and a host of friends to mourn his death. Per 1910 census: Claude Clarke, Pauline Clarke, Eva Clarke, Lallie Clarke, Raymond Clarke, Harvy Clarke, Harold Clarke, Loucile Clarke

His body was interred at the Midville cemetery Tuesday morning with masonic honors with his pastor, Rev. Sellman, officiating.

Mr. Clarke was originally buried here, but moved to East View Cemetery in DeKalb County, Georgia when his wife passed away in Atlanta. His other memorial page is ID#45811014.
Pickens B. Clarke's body was moved from Midville and buried on February 23, 1938 in East View. He married May 13, 1888 in Augusta, Georgia.
