Ora Mae Champion Cagle, 83 of Paris, Tennessee, formerly of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Henry County Health Care in Paris, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, September 2, 1931 in Lafayette County, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Champion and the late Myrtle Johnson Champion Butler.
Mrs. Cagle was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Paris, Tennessee, retired sitter and volunteered for the Northwest Economic Development for over thirty-six years.
Graveside services for Mrs. Cagle will be 3:00 PM on Sunday at Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee with Pastor Jack R. Thacker officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 PM-2:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.
She is survived by one son, Roger Cagle of Gleason, Tennessee; two daughters, Shirley Fuller of Springville, Tennessee and Betty Gardner (Terry) of Obion, Tennessee; one brother, Howard Champion of Horn Lake, Mississippi; two sisters, Cindy Magee of Horn Lake, Mississippi and JoAnn Williams of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Melissa Ferrell (David) of Medina, Tennessee, Sheila Rechis (Louis) of Martin, Tennessee, Allen Fuller of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Brion Gardner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee Josh Cagle (Brittany) of Gleason, Tennessee and Amanda Cagle of Nashville, Tennessee; six great-grandchildren, Amber Rechis, Tiffany Rechis, Lou Rechis, Cierra Ferrell, Jacob Gardner and Emily Kay Cagle.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. "Allen" Cagle; one brother, James Champion and two sisters, Virginia Stephenson and Christine Bills.
Pallbearers will be Allen Fuller, Jacob Gardner, Josh Cagle, Brion Gardner, Louis Rechis and Lou Rechis.
