Mrs. Burke Rites Saturday
Mrs. Delilah Burke, 52, of 22 1/2 W. Washington St., died Thursday night in Sheltering Arms Hospital following an illness of 11 months.
She was born in Canaan Township, and had resided there most of her life. She was a member of Canaanville Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles H. Burke; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie McMullen, Athens RD; Mrs. Nettie Bretz, Athens RD; and Mrs. Alma Brown, Athens, and a brother, Harvey Fulton, Zenia, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p..m. Saturday in the Dowler and Ferguson funeral home by the Rev. E.C. Kenney. Burial will be in the West Union street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
