He was born in Lawrenceburg, IN. He was the son of Thomas Coghill and Ollie Hall Coghill.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Church, the Eagles and the American Legion.
He was retired from Scheneley and was the Owner of Coghill Sign Painting.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Coghill; Son, Steven Coghill; 4 Daughters, Janice (husband Ray) Slaughter, Mary Jo (husband Terry) Smith, Jane (husband Chris) Ahaus, Jill Anne (Allen) Moody; his Sister, Phyllis Pillsbury; 3 granddaughters, Megan Dixon, Jamie Ward, and Christina Ahaus.
Friends will be received Tuesday, April 14, 2009 7pm - 9pm at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15 at 10am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Lawrenceburg, IN, with Father Joseph Feltz officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery
