On Sept. 12, 1953 Ed Married Virginia Emily Raub. They had three children, Edward, Mark, and Laura.
For all his working career, Ed was associated with Layton Bus Company in Trenton, NJ, a company which was started by his father and primarily operated school busses. He initially worked as a mechanic and was very skilled. Later, following the death of his father, Ed took over management of the business.
Ed served in the N.J. Air National Guard with the 141st Fighter Interceptor Squadron and loved horses and cars. He enjoyed attending stock car races.
