Iva Rene "Namaw" Hardesty, a resident of Sulphur, OK was born August 19, 1931 in Hermitage, Arkansas to Johnnie Lee (Lansdale) and Linus Odell Smith. She passed away July 19, 2009 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years and 11 months.

She was married to Charles L. Hardesty at Hobbs, New Mexico on March 27, 1955.

She was a Seamstress. She Grew up in Hermitage, Arkansas where she graduated high school. She moved to Sulphur, OK in 1975. She was a member of Hickory Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband Charles on December 25, 1990, 2 Sisters - Erna Lene Hale and Theda Venon Morman.

Survived by her 3 Daughters and Sons in law - Vanessa and Mickey Wells of Fitzhugh, OK; Creda and Kenny Riddle of Mill Creek, OK; Charlette and Rocck Mallory of Claremore, OK; Sister and Brother in law - Marcia Lee and Robert Huitt of Hermitage, Arkansas; 7 Grandchildren - Michael Wells, Lisa Posey, Carissa Wells, Charee Poe, Colt Riddle, Rocckelle Mallory, and Charleigh Mallory, 4 Great Grandchildren - Tyler Wells, Ava Wells, Evan Wells, and Katelynn "Bug" Riddle

Pallbearers will be Kenny Riddle, Mickey Wells, Rocck Mallory, Michael Wells, Colt Riddle, and Christopher Shawn Allen HONORARY PALLBEARERS Jim Glover, David Earsom, Jimmy Mormon, and Donnie Ramer.

Services will be held Wednesday July 22, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Hickory Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Wilburn. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home.
