CHARLES R. BLOOR

Charles Riley Bloor, retired pottery, died Sunday at 4:30 a.m. at his home at 925 Bank after a several year illness.

Mr. Bloor was born in Burslem, Staffordshire, England, and came to America when he was 14 years to make his home with his Mrs. Hannah Bloor Kinney.(his brother Enoch and his wife Hannah)

He was a Kilnman for 26 years and retired about eight years ago. He was married June 18, 1896 to Miss Lucretia Bright.

He was a member of the Calvery Methodist Church, the Wesleyan bible class and a honorary member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.

He leaves, his widow; four daughters, Mrs. George Leonard of Chicago, Mrs. Hazel Osborn of Buffalo, New York and Gladys Bloor and Alice Bloor at home and eight grand-children.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday a 3 p.m. in the home with Rev. J.F. Dimit of Alliance and Rev. D. Roy Isler, pastor of the Calvary Methodist church, officiating. burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday night at the home.

Charles Riley Bloor was the son of James and Mary Riley Bloor of Burslem England, and grandson of Daniel and Ann Emberton Riley of Audley Staffordshire, England and Joseph and Mary Grattan Bloor of Burslem and Longton, Staffs, England.
