Daughter Of The 1st Governor of N. W. T. Dies
Mrs. David Laird died Tuesday in Ottawa. The telegram conveying this word was received by her nieces Mrs. Dora Campbell and Mrs. T. B. Rogers. The late Mrs. Laird was the youngest daughter of the Hon. David Laird. She was a sister of Mrs. J. A. Mathieson and Mr. D. Rennie Laird of Charlottetown. Surviving are one brother Mr. W. C. Laird of Winnipeg and two daughters the Misses Betty and Louise Laird of Ottawa.
The funeral will be held Friday in Winnipeg.

Leaving Hulse and Playfair, 315 McLeod St., 6 p.m., Tuesday. Funeral service Gardiner Funeral Home, Winnipeg, on Friday. Interment Old Kildonan cemetery, Winnipeg.
