Charles Buss Parker age 94 of St. Clair died Monday, July 20, 2009. Charles was born December 16, 1914 in St. Clair to the late Fred and Clara Parker.

He married Betty Sharrow on September 2, 1939. She died February 10, 1952.

He married Jewell Gerhardt on May 29, 1957. She died January 6, 1988.

Charles was Veteran of World War II, serving in North Africa and Italy, and was awarded a Hurple heart.

He worked for the Diamond Crystal Salt Co. and enjoyed gardening and fishing, and spending time in Florida.

Charles is survived by his sons, Chuck (Kathy) Parker and Jesse (Carolyn) Parker and daughter, Mary (Terry) Bower.

Grandchildren, Cindy Pegg, Missy Israel, Chuck Parker Jr, Derek Parker, Jennifer Stoltz, Jesse Parker Jr., Lindsay Colantuono and Lanette Tagliamonte, and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by daughter, Cathy; Grandson, Ralph Bower; brothers, Bill and Fred; & sisters, Mabel, Laura, Hatti, Blanche, & Netti.

Visitation Thursday from 2-9 PM at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home.

Service Friday 11 AM in the funeral home.

Burial in Hillside Cemetery.
