She married Wilson H. Pierce on 7 May 1889 in Galesburg, Illinois; he was a lawyer with a practice in Waterbury, Connecticut. They had 2 children: Catherine Wilson Pierce and Eldridge Bancroft Pierce. She died in Massachusetts and was not buried until 19 June 1953 in Illinois. A visit to the cemetery on May 29, 2010 did not find a grave marker; her name, however, is included on her husband's grave marker in Connecticut with just her birth year.
