Frank E. Walker, of Galloway, died in his home on Friday, October 28, 1977.

A retired tool and die maker for General Motors Corp in Columbus, he was a World War I veteran, serving in the Observation Corp., Motor Pool and Army of Occupation. A awarded the highest medal given by the French government, The Coix de Guerre for bravery beyond the call of duty, he was a charter member of the Franklin Post of the American Legion. As a youth, he attended Dublin Community Church, and was a member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association in Vandalia, Ohio. He was a charter member of the Leather Lips Yacht Club in Columbus. Mr. Walker supported the National Wildlife Federation in Washington D.C., since it's beginning.

He leaves his wife, Genevieve, sister, Mrs. Fota Johnson, in Columbus; two nephews; three nieces; plus great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends.

Jerry Spears on W. Broad St. to hold services on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Military Rites will be held in Fernwood Cemetery by American Legion, Jefferson Post 201.
