GRANT M. GRIFFIN DIES.
End Came Saturday Night At Home of Daughter. Mrs. E. J. Sims.
Grant M. Griffin died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ernest J. Sims, 1902 Walnut street, Saturday night at 10 o'clock after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Sims home at 9 o'clock Monday morning by Rev. Harvey Simmons and the interment was made in the Union cemetery, northeast of Coffeyville.
Mr. Griffin was 66 years old and had lived in Coffeyville and vicinity for nine years. For a time he was engaged in the grocery business at 305 Willow street with his son-in-law, E. J. Sims, but most of the time he farmed east of the city. Mrs. Griffin died a few years ago and with one son is buried in the Union cemetery. Another son is buried in Missouri. Mr. Griffin leaves two children besides Mrs. Sims, they being Miss Bessie Griffin and Herbert Griffin.
