Mary Lou Helt Abbott, 70, Indianapolis, passed away Friday, January 31, 2003. She was the loving widow of Cecil Abbott Jr. Mary Lou is survived by her children; William C. Abbott, Cecilia L. (Corky) Foley, Kimberly S. Perkins, Velma A. (Val) Bennett, Christine P. (Chris) Boerner, Kelly L. Ellson, Kathy L. Cox. She also is survived by her sister, Patricia A. Helt Barnes. She was the grandmother of 26 and great grandmother of 2. She was a graduate of Ladywood High School, and Holy Rosary College. She worked for Allison Press Clipping Service for 20 years and was a member Phi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a member of Cystic Fibrosis Guild of Indianapolis, and also a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Lawrence Catholic Church. Viewing will be on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 from 3 � 9 p.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center � Lawrence, with a rosary service at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial: Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Tourettes Foundation.
