LEXINGTON, S.C. - Owen Palmer Morrison, 59, passed away in Lexington, SC on July 7, 2009 following a long illness. Mr. Morrison is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Rush and Brenda Morrison of Midlothian, VA; nephews David, Scott, and Billy Morrison; niece Mary Anne Morrison, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, John Owen and Anne Litzinger Morrison of North Augusta, SC. Mr. Morrison was born on January 16, 1950 in Summit, NJ and spent most of his childhood in North Augusta, SC where he was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, MA where he was a member of the varsity football team. Mr. Morrison spent the early part of his adult life in the Boston, MA area and resided in South Carolina for the past twenty years. He enjoyed golf and tennis.
